METRO Offers Free Rides To And From Polls For Houston Area Voters
METRO is offering a free round trip to the polls to help people vote. All you need to do is tell the bus driver you're a voter.

HOUSTON, TX — Need a ride to the polls? Houston METRO is offering free rides to help Houstonians exercise their right to vote in the midterm general election on Tuesday.
You can ride at no charge on all METRORail, local buses, and METROLift paratransit services from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Official with the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County offered free rides to the polls during the early voting period and will offer the same thing to Houstonians on election day.

To receive free rides, just inform bus operators and/or fare inspectors you are going to, or returning from, the polls.
