1. The University of Houston-Downtown's Presidential Investiture Program of Loren J. Blanchard will take place on Tuesday, May 24 with a formal morning ceremony and celebrations throughout the day and evening. Traditionally, these ceremonies are held at the conclusion of the president's first year in office. (University Of Houston - Downtown)

2. The Houston Police Department's Dive Team was working on Monday to recover the body of a man who police said a witness saw jump into a lake in west Houston. Local news reporter Miya Shay said the entire area is gated. (ABC 13)

3. A woman in Houston was arrested after police said she stole and crashed a METRO Police vehicle. The incident happened at 1:20 a.m. Monday at the Fannin South Park & Ride at 1601 West Bellfort Street. The suspect got in the vehicle, hitting and damaging an automatic gate as she exited the Park & Ride area, according to police. (KHOU 11)

4. The Kinder Foundation has contributed $1.315 million to Lucille’s 1913, a 501(c)3 started by Lucille’s Hospitality Group founder Chris Williams that fights food insecurity in Houston. The organization was founded in 2020 and has served 400,000 meals to residents in neighborhoods such as Sunnyside, Acres Homes, Fifth Ward, and Third Ward. (CultureMap Houston)

5. Former Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson said he's looking to move on after two Houston-area grand juries declined to indict him on criminal charges and amid ongoing lawsuits from 22 women accusing him of sexual misconduct. "All I can do is keep moving forward and continue to show the person that I am, the true character, the true person, the true human-being I am," Watson said at an introductory press conference.
