Missing 7-Year-Old From Spring Found Dead In Washing Machine: Police
Troy Khoeler was reported missing early Thursday and was found mid-morning by Harris County Precinct 4 deputies.
SPRING, TX — A 7-year-old boy from Spring was found dead in a washing machine at his home Thursday morning, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
Troy Khoeler was reported missing at 5:20 a.m., and Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's deputies initially could not find him after a search near the home on Rosegate Drive. Khoeler was later found in a top-loading washing machine, according to Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.
It is unclear how the boy ended up in the washing machine.

No arrests have been made, but the boy's parents are being interviewed by investigators, Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Thomas Gilliland confirmed to Patch.
The boy was adopted by the family three years ago out of foster care, Gilliland said.

Precinct 4 deputies searched the area around the house in the Birnam Wood subdivision for an hour after the father reported the boy missing. They returned to the house and searched inside where they found the boy in the washing machine. The mother was at work when the boy was reported missing but came home at some point during the search, according to Gilliland.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office and medical personnel were called to the house after the deputies found the body.
