Mother Accused Of Drowning, Decapitating Son, 5: Police
Lihui Liu, 43 is being held without bond is accused of drowning and decapitating her 5-year-old son.

HOUSTON, TX -- A 43-year-old woman accused of killing her 5-ydear-old son is in the Harris County Jail charged with capital murder. Lihui Liu was charged in the 185th District Court in the brutal murder of her son.
Houston Police were called to 13826 Holly Lynn Lane at about 7 p.m. Friday for a stabbing. When officers got to the home, they found the 5-year-old boy dead in the garage.
Investigators spoke with Liu, her husband, and he couple's other 13-year-old child. The husband told police that he noticed his son missing when he got home from work.

When he asked his wife where their son was, she reportedly told him the child was dead and that his body was in trash.
According to court documents, the man said he looked in the trash and found the child in the garbage.

Officials said the child had been drowned and decapitated. Investigators alleged that Liu admitted to drowning the child, but not to the decapitation.
Liu was arrested and taken to the Harris County Jail where she was charged in the child's death, officials said.
