New Harmony Science Academy-City Place Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

HSA City Place welcomes Families, Educators, and Community Members to the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

New Harmony Science Academy–City Place Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Celebration

There’s something special about the excitement of a brand-new school, and Harmony Science Academy–City Place recently shared that feeling with the community. The school, which quietly opened its doors in August, officially celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event was a chance for families, educators, and community members to see the new campus up close. Visitors heard a few words from school and community leaders, took a student-guided tour of the classrooms, maker space labs, and learning spaces, and met the teachers and staff who make the school come alive each day.

Principal Elyse Pravel says the new school reflects Harmony’s mission to blend innovation with strong academics. “This campus represents our commitment to academic excellence and innovation,” Pravel said. “We’re excited to serve the City Place community and provide a world-class education to our students.”

After the ceremony, guests gathered for refreshments, networking, and a presentation from our student ambassadors. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet with our community supporters, to visit with other families and get to know the people shaping the future of local education.
