New Zealand

New Zealand has to be one of the most fabulous places I’ve ever visited, certainly in terms of natural beauty, the kindness of the people, and the incredible food. If you are planning on going, most will tell you that the place you absolutely must visit is Queenstown, the south island. Back in March of 2017, I took my oldest daughter and youngest son to New Zealand. We still agree its one of the best trips we’ve ever taken—and we’ve taken many! From skydiving, spelunking, paragliding, white water rafting, luging (yes, that’s a thing!), to hiking, mountain biking, jet boating, and even helicoptering the mountains, it was a one of a kind trip that few get to experience. Prior to going, I engage a tour company that put together a schedule that had us doing some sort of adventure activity daily, and had us staying in some of the best lodges with the best food that New Zealand has to offer. Make no mistake, it is HARD to get to New Zealand (7,500 miles from Houston, Texas). I can assure however, when you arrive you will never want to leave. New Zealand—it’s what’s happening!!
