Police Looking For Copycat Snapchat Shooter

Harris County Sheriff asks for help identifying man recorded shooting from a moving car the same day first Snapchat shooter is convicted.

HOUSTON, TX — On the same day a woman who was recorded on Snapchat firing a weapon from a moving car was convicted, police revealed they are looking for another may who recorded a similar Snapchat video.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office sent out a press release Tuesday asking for help identifying a young man between 19-20 years old, who was recorded shooting a handgun from the passenger window of a moving car.

The incident is believed to have happened in northwest or west Houston, and was possibly recorded within the last several weeks.

The incident is similar to the one that happened in October when Sierra Tarbutton and Miguel Cuellar recorded themselves shooting automatic weapons out of a moving car along State Highway 6.

Tarbutton and Cuellar were both arrested several days after the incident and charged with deadly conduct.

Tarbutton was convicted of the offense and sentenced to five years, while Cuellar has yet to stand trial.

Deputies are looking for a white man, with short brown hair, and a distinctive tattoo on his right inside forearm.
