1. Homicide detectives have released the identity of a man who was found shot to death in the parking lot of a southwest Houston restaurant on Saturday afternoon. Police say the victim has been identified as 42-year-old Phillip Rogers. Investigators believe the death is tied to drugs. (Click2Houston)

2. Texas Children's Hospital announced on Friday it's pausing gender-affirming services following Governor Greg Abbott's new directive which targets trans youth. They said in a statement that the, "step was taken to safeguard our healthcare professionals and impacted families from potential criminal legal ramifications." (KHOU 11)

3. A local fisherman, Alex Sosa, caught a 6-foot-long alligator gar that was 130 pounds in Houston's Brays Bayou. Sosa's boat was near the Gus Wortham Golf Course and he used a big buffalo head as bait. He says he released the alligator back into the Brays Bayou, as he does all his catches. (ABC 13)

4. Houston's first outdoor roller rink, The Rink, is roaring back at Discovery Green in downtown. There are a number of events happening through April 9th including Time Warp Tuesdays, Clutch City Wednesdays, Throwback Thursdays, and more. (CultureMap Houston)

5. MOD Pizza will be opening a new location in Pearland at 2810 Business Center Drive. The planned opening date is May 2022. MOD is known for its individual artisan-style pizzas and salads. (Community Impact Newspaper)
