1. The Houston Texans pup, Kirby, was selected to compete in this year's Puppy Bowl. Kirby is one of more than 100 adoptable puppies that will be scoring touchdowns for a chance to win the "Lombarky" Trophy. (KHOU 11)

2. A plumber from Spring Branch has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for molesting a 4-year-old girl while working at her home. 26-year-old Brandon Joseph Bonds pleaded guilty on Monday to aggravated sexual assault of a child, a first-degree felony, according to Harris County DA Kim Ogg. 3. Sugar Land officials say the city will be changing its water treatment procedure in March and initially residents might experience a change in water appearance, taste, and smell. Treatment changes will begin on March 1st and last until March 29th. (KHOU 11)

4. Houston attorney Tony Buzbee is listing his 5-bedroom, 5 1/2-bathroom River Oaks home at 1822 River Oaks Boulevard for $27.5 million. Bitcoin will be accepted for purchase in a win for the blockchain movement. (CultureMap Houston)

5. A mother and her two daughters attacked an 8th grader from Rowe Middle School at a bus stop on Tuesday, according to a report from KRPC. Video footage shows a girl being hit, beat and dragged by three people while bystanders watched. (Houston Patch)
