The Courage to Bee organization is preparing to launch its fifth annual Christmas for Bees initiative, a holiday tradition that has supported families across the city since its inception. This year, the nonprofit will partner with Harmony School of Enrichment.

The initiative is designed to provide a festive holiday experience for under-resourced families. Volunteers will decorate the campus, set up toy stations, and offer a variety of new gifts for parents to select at no cost. A gift wrapping station and complimentary refreshments, including hot chocolate and holiday treats will also be available. Organizers say the goal is to offer families an experience that preserves dignity while helping parents provide meaningful gifts for their children.

This year, the program aims to serve 10 families at Harmony School of Enrichment. According to event coordinators, the focus extends beyond gift-giving; it is also about offering encouragement and restoring hope during a time of year that can be especially difficult for those facing financial strain.
