Shoe Carnival Offers Same-Day Delivery In Houston

HOUSTON, TX — For those trying to find last-minute gifts during the holiday rush in Houston, Shoe Carnival has a solution.

The shoe store, which offers an assortment of dress, casual and athletic footwear with an emphasis on national name brands, has partnered with DoorDash to provide same-day delivery to any customer within 12 miles of a Shoe Carnival store for $10, including just $5 for Shoe Perks members.

There are seven Shoe Carnival locations in Houston:

• Westheimer Commons, 12556 Westheimer Road.
• Southway Shopping Center, 8032 S. Gessner Road.
• Northwest Marketplace, 13784 Northwest Freeway.
• Northline Commons, 4436 North Freeway.
• Gulfgate Shopping Center, 512 Gulfgate Center Mall.
• Almeda Crossing Shopping Center, 10011 Almeda Genoa Road.
• New Forest Crossing Shopping Center, 5969 E. Sam Houston Parkway North.

To use the service, customers browse the retailer’s selection of shoes, and once a specific product and size are selected, the site will provide the same-day delivery option if the product is available locally. Customers also can buy online and pick up in store to avoid shipping delays.

"We pride ourselves on providing customers with the best shopping experience, whether they’re shopping in-store or online," Shoe Carnival President and CEO Mark Worden said in a news release. "In a year when customers have come to expect order delays, we’ve managed to partner with our great vendors to keep our Shoe Carnival stores stocked with the hottest footwear on the market."

Customers in Houston also will be able to use the service after the holiday season as the deal is a long-term partnership between Shoe Carnival and DoorDash, a Shoe Carnival spokesperson confirmed to Patch.
