Spring Artisans Custom Creations In High Demand For Christmas
John Leslie Studios creates one of a kind and custom-made gifts, and they will be filling Christmas orders until Dec. 19.

SPRING, TX — Christmas season will be here before you know if, and artisans like John Leslie are still working hard through the Yuletide season to ship those hard to create truly unique Christmas gifts.
Leslie, who operates John Leslie Studios out of his garage in Spring, spent Cyber Monday filling hundreds of orders through Amazon Handmade that were sent all over the U.S.
Many of those orders were for those custom made and personalized Christmas ornaments that John Leslie Studios has become known for in online circles.

“We did 400 orders that included more than 900 items,” Leslie told Patch. “That was almost 20 percent above last year.”
Klein High School senior Ezra Bailey, who has been Leslie's right hand for several years, sorted many of the items and boxed them up for shipment, which went out the Tuesday after Cyber Monday.

“It was a busy day,” Bailey said. “I came here after school and worked for a few hours, then had to leave to teach piano lessons, and then I was back here until about 10 p.m. It was so busy.”
The designs for the earrings and Christmas ornaments all come from Leslie’s imagination, or suggestions from customers, which are then created on a computer program that is sent to his laser cutter.
Once the items are cut, they are wiped down and prepared for shipping. The items are shipped to the Amazon.com fulfillment center in bulk with the various invoices and are then shipped to the customer.
He had all the Cyber Monday orders the next day and stays pretty busy through the Christmas season.

Bailey said they can easily make that many in a single day. Of course, there are other personalized gifts that Leslie creates that can be seen on his website here.
