Taylor Swift Friday Ticket Sale Canceled; Singer To Play 3 Dates In Houston
The news came after a turbulent week for Swifties that saw those willing to wait in hourslong presale queues sometimes come up ticketless.
HOUSTON, TX — Taylor Swift fans hoping to see the singer live in Houston may be out of luck after Ticketmaster announced Thursday that its Friday sale for the singer’s The Eras Tour was canceled.
“Due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand, tomorrow's public on-sale for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour has been cancelled,” Ticketmaster tweeted.
The announcement came after a turbulent week for Swifties that saw those willing to wait in hourslong online presale queues sometimes come up ticketless. Tickets also surfaced on StubHub and other resale sites for six figures.

Swift’s national tour kicks off in March. She is set to play three dates at Houston’s NRG Stadium — April 21, 22 and 23.
