Terminal D Bush Airport Cleared After Man Claims He Has A Bomb

A passenger who was going through security at Bush Intercontinental claimed to be carrying a bomb in his backpack

HOUSTON, TX — Terminal D at Bush Intercontinental Airport was shut down after a passenger claimed to be carrying a bomb.

The incident began just before 9 a.m., when a man who was going through security at the airport claimed to be carrying a bomb in his backpack.

Terminal D was evacuated after the threat was made and the mans is believed to be in custody.

The Houston Police bomb squad was sent to the airport, and is investigating the contents of that backpack.

The airport has not announced any delays as a result of the the threat.
