Texas Child, 9, Dies Of Drowning While Taking A Shower: Report
The boy was taken to Texas Children's Hospital after police were called to his Houston home, according to a report.
HOUSTON, TX — A 9-year-old Houston boy died Saturday after police said he drowned while taking a shower, according to a report.
The incident happened around 10 p.m., NBC affiliate WOIA reported. Officials told the station the boy's grandfather discovered him in the tub and tried to do CPR before the boy was taken to Texas Children's Hospital.
The boy was pronounced dead at 11:15 p.m., according to WOIA. Police are investigating the incident.
