Texas’ Favorite Home Renovation? A Fresh Coat of Paint
Google Trends analysis finds "Every U.S. State's Most Searched Home Renovation Project."

According to a new study by Eagle Leasing, Texans are putting down their power tools and picking up paint brushes this year. The data, which analyzed Google search trends across the U.S., found that repainting a room is the most popular home renovation project in the Lone Star State.
While homeowners in other parts of the country are busy installing floating shelves or peel-and-stick tile, Texans are opting for a simple refresh. A new coat of paint remains one of the easiest, most affordable ways to breathe life into a space.
Texas shares the painting spotlight with only one other state—Louisiana. Most others favored other upgrades like backsplash tile, garden beds, and even popcorn ceiling removal.
