Texas Medical Center Appoints New Board Member
Travis M. Overall to provide extensive expertise in asset management, real estate and capital markets as TMC expands life science operations

Texas Medical Center (TMC) announced the appointment of Travis M. Overall, a strategic leader with more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, to its Board of Directors. His expertise in managing large-scale commercial real estate—essential to TMC’s healthcare infrastructure and operations—will help advance the mission of maintaining a modern, efficient, and sustainable medical campus that drives patient care and medical innovation.
“We are excited to welcome Travis to our board as Houston’s life sciences sector reaches a critical point where expanding lab and office spaces, medical facilities, and biotech incubators require innovative approaches to meet the growing demand,” said William McKeon, president and CEO of Texas Medical Center. “As TMC builds up on that momentum, Travis’s experience and knowledge will be instrumental in supporting TMC’s growth and its ongoing contributions to Houston’s economy through attracting new investors, creating more job opportunities, and expanding our innovation ecosystems.”
Travis Overall served as the Executive Vice President for the Texas Region at Brookfield Properties, where he oversaw large real estate portfolios, retail and mixed-use properties, along with leasing, operations, and major construction projects. Prior to that, he spent 19 years at Hines, leading the acquisition, disposition, development, and management of commercial real estate valued at more than $2 billion.
