Thunderstorm To Impact South Houston: NWS
The National Weather Service Houston issued a special weather statement until 3:45 p.m.
HOUSTON, TX — A thunderstorm will impact portions of Fort Bend County, south Houston and the Pearland area, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS Houston issued a special weather statement that a thunderstorm was over Bellaire and moving east. The impacted areas include northern Missouri City, south Houston, west Pasadena, Pearland, northeastern Manvel and the areas around Hobby Airport.
The statement lasts until 3:45 p.m. No hail is expected, but the storm will have frequent lightning strikes and wind gusts up to 40 mph.
