Trucks Top The List Of Most Stolen Vehicles For May 2018

HOUSTON, TX — If you own a pickup truck in Houston, it had better be locked up tight when it's parked in the driveway.

The Houston Police has released its list of the top stolen vehicles for May, and with the popularity of pickups, it's not a surprise they top the list.

The top stolen vehicles in order are:

• Chevrolet Trucks.......................................184
• Ford Trucks...............................................175
• GMC Trucks................................................64
• Dodge Trucks..............................................49
• Toyota Cars.................................................44
• Chevrolet Cars.............................................43
• Ford Cars.....................................................31
• Honda Cars..................................................31
• Dodge Cars...................................................27
• Nissan Cars..................................................27
• Honda Trucks.............................................24
• Toyota Trucks.............................................18
• Nissan Trucks.............................................18

There were 13 different automobiles on the list, however, Ford and Honda cars tied for No. 7, Dodge and Nissan cars tied for the no. 8 spot, and Toyota and Nissan trucks tied at the bottom spot.
