TxDOT Alerts Motorists of Road Work as Planned

From Texas Department of Transportation: There are no scheduled US 290 lane closures during the holiday weekend from 9 p.m., Friday, April 14 to 5 a.m., Monday, April 17.

A Glimpse Ahead

IH 610 West Loop northbound connector to IH 610 North Loop eastbound will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday, April 21. Motorists will be detoured to the frontage road at the W. 18th exit and reenter the freeway past T.C. Jester. Crews will install sign structures.

US 290 eastbound main lanes from Senate to Fairbanks N. Houston will be closed continuously from 9 p.m., Friday, April 21 to 5 a.m., Monday, April 24. Motorists will be detoured to the two-lane collector-distributor, exit to the frontage road at W. Little York, continue on the frontage road and reenter the freeway past Fairbanks N. Houston. Motorists should expect heavy delays and seek alternate routes, such as Hempstead Road.
