Houston Area Verizon Customers Report Service Disruptions
Houston area Verizon customers reported service disruptions Tuesday morning. Other areas of the US also reported service disruptions.
HOUSTON, TX — Verizon Wireless customers in the Houston area found themselves without service on Tuesday.
According to downdetector.com, the outages were widespread to areas all over Texas including Houston, and north into Dallas and Oklahoma City, east into southern Louisiana, southern Alabama, and parts of the northeast.
Some in the Houston area reported not being able to make outgoing calls, but were able to receive calls. Other customers reported being about to only send and receive text messages.

Officials have not said what has caused the outage.
