Warriors End Rockets Season With 101-92 Win
Repeat: A third-quarter rally by the Golden State Warriors dashed the hopes of Rockets fans who haven't seen a championship since 1995.

HOUSTON, TX — The hope of the NBA championship returning to the Bayou City for the first time in 23 years is still a possibility, but not in 2018.
Not after the Golden State Warriors crushed the dreams of Rockets fans who were maybe were hanging on the words of ex-Rockets coach Rudy Tomjanovich who warned in 1995, "Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion."
It's clear the Rockets never underestimated the current NBA Champion Warriors, who will face off against Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers for the fourth time in as many years, after downing the Rockets 101-92.

However, just like in game six, the Dubs rallied, hitting 3-pointers almost at will and taking the lead by the end of the third quarter.
The Rockets seemingly lost their touch on 3-point shooting, missing 27 consecutive 3-point shots through nearly three quarters of play.
The Warriors Kevin Durant finished with 34 points, followed by Stephen Curry who had 27 on the night.
Jame Harden led Rockets scorers with 32 points on the night.
The Warriors will host the Cavaliers in game one of the NBA Championship Finals on Thursday.
