“The Houston Food Bank does an incredible job serving 800,000 meals to hungry Houston-area neighbors in need every year, and there’s no better time to lend our support than during Hunger Action Month,” said Whataburger Regional Director of Operations Jeff Foster. “Whataburger is humbled by our great fans, and we’re looking forward to seeing them inside our restaurants to help ensure no one in our community goes hungry.”
In addition to the fundraiser, Whataburger and the Houston Texans plan to treat the community to a special one-day event to celebrate. On Tuesday, Sept. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., fans who stop by the Whataburger restaurant located at 11025 Shadow Creek Parkway in Pearland have the chance to take part in a special event celebrating the community, including the chance to meet Houston Texans starting center, Nick Martin. Other special appearances include Texans Cheerleaders and their mascot, TORO.
