Missing Alert: Irving Police Ask for Public's Help in Locating Joseph Fowler (irvingweekly.com) — Irving police are urgently asking residents to help find 34-year-old Joseph Fowler, whose last confirmed whereabouts were around Addington Drive in north Irving, with later possible sightings near major local intersections and the Airport Freeway Walmart. Family members say his disappearance is very out of character, and anyone with information is urged to call Irving PD and reference case 25-23458.

2. City of Irving Prepares for Penny Phase-Out, Cash Purchases to Be Rounded to Nearest Nickel (irvingweekly.com) — Cash-paying shoppers in Irving will soon see their totals rounded to the nearest nickel as the federal government phases out pennies, but only on the final bill, not individual items. City of Irving officials stress prices aren’t increasing and encourage residents to use cards or exact change if they want to avoid rounding, and offer a local treasury contact for questions.

3. After bankruptcy, Dallas Tex-Mex company bought Razzoo's restaurants (dallasnews.com) — Razzoo’s new owner plans to close several locations, including the Irving restaurant, as it refocuses on more profitable sites across Texas and North Carolina. The company says about 650 of roughly 1,000 employees will stay on, with some managers from closing stores eligible for jobs at Mi Cocina locations.

4. Calif. Law Mandates New Ingredient in Tortillas (newsmax.com) — An Irving-based company is at the center of a major tortilla change, as California becomes the first state to require folic acid in most tortillas and corn masa products to reduce birth defects. Mission Foods, headquartered in Irving, has already been fortifying its products since 2016 and publicly supports the new California and Alabama laws.
