• Contractor strikes water pipe, affecting water for hundreds of homes, businesses in central Killeen (kdhnews.com) — Thousands of central Killeen residents and hundreds of businesses are under a boil-water notice after a private contractor struck a 10-inch water main near Central Texas Expressway, dropping water pressure Monday. City crews are repairing the line and will test water quality, with results expected within 24 to 48 hours after work is finished.
