• Labera 'Faye' Creel passed away November 8, 2025 (dailytrib.com) — Liberty Hill readers are remembering Labera “Faye” Creel, who was raised in Liberty Hill and went on to touch countless young lives as a teacher and librarian across Texas. She later retired to Kingsland, where she was active in church, community service, and family life. A memorial service is set for December 27 at Highland Lakes United Methodist Church in Buchanan Dam.
