Former Mesquite teacher and coach arrested on child grooming charge, police say (cbsnews.com) — Mesquite police have arrested a 32-year-old former local teacher and coach following an alleged child grooming report tied to the Christian Center of Mesquite on E. Cartwright Road. Investigators say he previously worked at Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy in Mesquite and coached a Mesquite-based club volleyball team. Police are asking anyone with information to call 972-216-6701.
