- Two Odessa teens were arrested for attacking a woman with a gun. On May 30, officers received a report of two teenagers, Alexis Isidia Garcia, 19, and a 16-year-old juvenile, were causing a disturbance at the Vera Apartments involving an assault and a gun. They have both been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the juvenile has been charged with four counts. The attack is still under investigation by OPD. (News 9 West)
- Two big music performers, Jackson Browne and Kenny Wayne Sheppard are set to play at Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center. Browne recently had a song nominated for a Grammy award under the Americana music genre. Sheppard has had multiple chart-topping hits like "Blue on Black" from the "Trouble Is" album. Browne is set to perform on Jul. 15 and Sheppard will perform on Jul. 23. Tickets are on sale now Here. (Midland Reporter-Telegram)
- Richard and Stacey Sierra have been arrested after police found more than 400 grams of THC concentrates, around five pounds of marijuana, six firearms, and more than $2,000 in cash. The Sierras' will be charged with Possession of Marijuana SJF and Possession of THC F-1. In total, over $35,00 worth of drugs and weapons were seized from the home. (KWTX)

- Odessa Police Officers were honored in a memorial service in the Big Bend Area. The event pays tribute to west texas police officers killed in the line of duty, and several Odessa officers attended the event. (City of Odessa, Texas via Facebook)
- The Midland Fire Department is holding a Wet N' Wild event during Midland's Health and Wellness Tour. CJ Kelly Park will be filled with slides, trucks, and water games on Jun. 5 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. This event will be free. (Midland TX Fire Department via Facebook)
