- The Odessa Police Department asking for help in finding a missing woman. Brittany Sawyer, 35 has been missing for more than three weeks. She was last seen on Apr. 30. Sawyer has no vehicle and is frequently seen walking. She has blonde hair and blue eyes, is five feet and five inches tall, and is around 130 pounds. Anyone with information on Sawyer's whereabouts is encouraged to call OPD. (Odessa American)
- Jessica Estrada, a 37-year-old woman from Midland, was arrested after driving into a crowd while under the influence of alcohol. Estrada has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and driving while intoxicated. The incident occurred after Estrada entered a home uninvited and began yelling at the residents. She was escorted outside, where she got into a Jeep, reversed it, and intentionally drove it toward the gathering, hitting two residents. The injured individuals were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital for treatment. (News West 9)
- The Odessa College board will receive a report on the scholarship program known as the Promise program, which aims to address financial obstacles for students who select Odessa College as their educational institution. This initiative is designed to eliminate funding barriers and provide support to students. The program will be implemented starting with the graduating class of 2024 as its first group of beneficiaries. (Odessa American)

- The Odessa Police Department is offering an Athletic League for kids. The program is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. It encourages physical fitness and teamwork and you must register each child prior to the event. (Odessa Police Department via Facebook)
- Bonham Elementary School has generously contributed a donation of $2,402.66 to support Midland Animal Services. The dedicated students of the school organized a service project called "Pennies 4 Pets" and successfully the funds which will be utilized to provide essential assistance to the animals residing in the shelter. - Registration is now open for the Firecracker Fandango Car Show scheduled for Jul. 1. Even if you don't own a car, feel free to come down and enjoy the fantastic show alongside family and friends. (City of Odessa, Texas via Facebook)
