Judge rules in favor of city of Odessa in TGAA lawsuit (yourbasin.com) — A judge in Ector County has ruled in favor of the City of Odessa, permanently blocking an arbitration effort by the Texas Government Accountability Association. The decision means TGAA and its partners cannot pursue arbitration against the city, effectively closing the lawsuit unless an appeal is filed.

Meals on Wheels of Odessa needs more volunteers (firstalert7.com) — Meals on Wheels of Odessa is urgently seeking more volunteers to help deliver weekday meals and safety checks to homebound seniors across the city. The nonprofit currently serves about 800 people but has 160 more on a waiting list, and says roughly 10 additional delivery routes—or help in the kitchen—could ensure vulnerable Odessans stay fed and safely in their homes.

Shoppers captured video of the chaos, just days after the store was touted as a boost for local jobs and tourism.
