LA PORTE, TX — The Battleship Texas was one of hundreds of U.S. ships that took part in the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944. On Thursday, the 75th anniversary of the invasion, 10 U.S. military veterans of World War II were on the deck of the Texas.
