Missing Crosby Girl, 12, Is Found Safe

CROSBY, TX — A 12-year-old girl who disappeared from her home on Saturday, has been found safe, deputies said Tuesday.

Hannah Diaz, a student at Crosby Middle School, disappeared from her home either late Friday or early Saturday morning.

Investigators believed Hannah left her home between midnight and 8 a.m. Saturday. She was last seen wearing dark jeans and a green army sweater.

She was carrying a black backpack with a kitty face and ears and wears blue-framed glasses. Investigators said Hannah had her cellphone and a lap top computer she took with her.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office used a helicopter to search the neighborhood from the air, but were not able to find her.
