Pasadena PD Arrests Two in Bomb Scare

The Pasadena, TX police department arrested two men after finding what looked like components for a bomb in an apartment.

Pasadena, TX -- Two men were arrested on Friday, June 24, after officers from the Pasadena Police Department discovered what they believed to be components of a bomb in an apartment.

An officer was dispatched to an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Jenkins Road at around 6 a.m. after receiving reports that a house guest would not leave a residence.

When the officer arrived he saw what he believed to be components for either constructing an explosive device or manufacturing a controlled substance.

The officer placed the residents in custody, evacuated neighboring apartments and called for the bomb squad.
