Pasadena Police Taking Applications For Citizens Police Academy

Classes will be held once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm in the Pasadena Police Department's Community Room.

PASADENA, TX β€” If you have ever wanted to know what really goes in at your average police department, the Pasadena Police Department can help. If you're over 21, you're a resident of or business owner in Pasadena and interested in law enforcement, you can sign up for the 38th Citizen Police Academy, beginning March 19, 2019.

This 10-week course is designed to give our citizens a better understanding of the Pasadena Police Department.

Police instructors will cover topics such as S.W.A.T., Crime Scene Investigations, K-9, police pursuits, Investigations, and much more. Classes will consist of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice.

You will visit different areas of the police department and see it as few other citizens have. We will help you understand how we do our jobs, why we do things in a certain way, and how you can help us to serve you better.

Classes will be held once a week on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm in the Pasadena Police Department's Community Room, located at 1201 Davis St.
