Lavon Farms Redevelopment Moves Forward With Council Approval (localprofile.com) — Plano City Council has approved rezoning historic Lavon Farms, clearing the way for a 215-acre mixed-use community with hundreds of homes, apartments, parks, and a rural preserve. Construction could start as early as 2026, blending new neighborhoods with a micro-farm and protected farmstead structures that honor nearly a century of Plano agricultural history.

Volleyball's Sands, Alexander and Ariail Earn AVCA All-Central Region Distinctions - University of Missouri Athletics (mutigers.com) — Plano native Tyrah Ariail capped her senior volleyball season at Missouri by earning AVCA All-Central Region honorable mention, leading the Tigers with 112 blocks and ranking among SEC hitting leaders.
