RICHARDSON, TX — An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-year-old girl missing from Richardson, Texas. Sherin Mathews was last seen by her father outside the family's backyard in the 900 block of Sunningdale. Police in Richardson say the child weighs 22 pounds and is approximately 36 inches tall. The girl suffers from developmental issues and has limited verbal communication skills. She was last seen wearing a pink top, black pajama bottoms and pink flip flops. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 972-744-4800.The girl's father, Wesley Mathews, has been arrested, police said Saturday night. He was arrested on charges of abandoning or endangering a child.
