• Off-duty Lewisville police officer arrested on sexual assault charge (keranews.org) — Rockwall County authorities and Heath public safety officers are investigating a Lewisville police officer after an alleged sexual assault of a 16-year-old in Heath, with the suspect initially booked into Rockwall County Jail and later released on bond. The officer, who was off duty at the time, is now on administrative leave while both criminal and internal affairs investigations proceed.

His survivors include granddaughter Melissa Anne Cox of Rockwall, along with his wife Faye, three children, five other grandchildren, and four great-granddaughters who remember his love of fishing, football, and woodworking.
