Here are the top stories today in Round Rock:
- In the coming 20 years, Round Rock's population is predicted to grow by almost 75,000. This growth will result from current project developments, future development of vacant land, and redevelopment of land due to the population increase. (City of Round Rock)
- Home builder, Century Communities announces start of a 395-home neighborhood, Avery Centre in Round Rock in January 2023. Single-family homes will have a price range starting in the $400's with a pool, park, and walking trails to enjoy. (PR Newswire)
- Round Rock ISD elections show that all races are contested. All applicants have until Aug. 26 to withdraw from elections. There is still time for applicants to apply candidacy in the special election for Round Rock ISD board of trustees Place 1, closing at 6 p.m., Aug. 25. (Community Impact Newspaper)
