- There will be a number of Round Rock open houses throughout the rest of this week, for those on the house hunt. Both new construction and resale home sales are up with prices ranging between the $300's-$700's mostly. (Zillow)
- Beloved local eatery, Beluga Japanese Restaurant, has permanently closed its doors. No known reason has been stated by the business itself. (Community Impact)
- Round Rock Express' Dallas Keuchel pitched seven shutout innings against El Paso Chihuahuas at the Dell Diamond, making it a 4-0 win. This is also the second game of the season where Round Rock Express shut out the El Paso Chihuahuas. (El Paso Herald Post)

- Central Texas Feline Rescue has long been Round Rock's rescue and plans to participate in the "Strut your Mutt" Fundraiser this year in October. Visit their site to see how you can help in donating to help the rescue continue their mission. (Facebook)
- Support the Greater Round Rock Community Foundation by purchasing Legacy Luncheon tickets, available through Sept. 8! The Aug. 31 at 5 p.m. deadline is coming up fast for artists to submit their "My Art, My Cause" exhibits — artwork that is close to the artist's heart, that portrays deep meaning to themselves or those around them, and any art that represents things you stand up for are encouraged.
