Fort Bend County Sheriff Arrests 19 on Child Porn Charges

Sugar Land, TX -- The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of 19 men on child pornography and solicitation charges.

Among those arrested were a volunteer firefighter, a former reserve deputy for the Fort Bend County Precinct 1 Constable's Office and a volunteer at a children's clothing collection site.

While most of the men arrested hail from the Houston area, some had addresses in Austin and the Harlingen area. The arrests were part of "Operation Broken Heart III," a nationwide effort to crack down on sexual predators targeting children.
