Found: One Big Pig and Two Horses

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office found a pot-bellied pig in Needville, a male horse in Rosenberg and a female horse in Beasley.

Sugar Land, TX — Missing a horse or a pig? The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner, or owners, of two horses and a pot-bellied pig, all of which were found wandering the streets after recent flooding.  

Both of the horses are sorrel colored, one a seven to eight year old female the other a two to four year old male. The potbelly pig is an eight or nine year old black female.

The male horse was found on June 6 near the 2000 block of Croxley Cove in Rosenberg. The female horse was found on June 13 near the 13000 block of MacFarland Road in Beasley. The pig was found on May 25 near the 9900 block of FM 1236 in Needville.

If the animals are not claimed soon the county will put them up for auction. In the case of the pig the owner has to claim the animal before June 16.

The owner of the male horse has until June 23 to claim him, while the owner of the female has until June 30.
