Sugar Land 10th Annual Memorial Day Ceremony Pays Tribute

The City of Sugar Land invites the community to pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the City's Memorial Day Ceremony

SUGAR LAND, TX — The City of Sugar Land invites the community to pay solemn tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the City's Memorial Day Ceremony.

The ceremony will he held at Sugar Land Memorial Park fro 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Event Info: Admissions to the park and event activities are free to the public.

  • 10 a.m. Exhibits and Patriotic Music
  • 11 a.m. Formal Memorial Day Tribute
  • Noon Raising of the Flag Observance

Event Booths:

  • Voter Registration U.S. Family Health Plan (general information, veteran health plan/program)
  • 6th Calvary Historical Association (military vehicles – static display)
  • B TRP 1-112th Calvary Regiment of the Texas Army National Guard (military vehicles - static display)
  • Vet Center 711 (VA resources)
  • Dignity Memorial (exhibit, information booth)
  • Sugar Land Rotary (water bottle distribution)
  • U.S. Flag Making Workshop (activity booth and post card distribution)
  • Kay Shot Me Photography (onsite photo booth)

Parking and Shuttle: Limited parking will be available on-site. A complimentary shuttle service will run from University of Houston - Sugar Land campus, 14000 University Blvd., to Sugar Land Memorial Park.
