Williams Way To Be Renamed Richmond Parkway In March
The changes will take place March 25, officials said. The addresses will remain the same, just the street name is changing.

RICHMOND, TX — Don't look now, but there were are more changes coming to Williams Way Blvd. This time, it will be a name change.
Officials in Richmond announced in a press release on Friday that Williams Way Blvd would be renamed Richmond Parkway, and will impact addresses between Interstate 69, north to U.S. 90A.
The changes will take place March 25, officials said. The addresses will remain the same, just the street name is changing.

The City of Richmond has notified the following entities concerning the change:
- 911 Emergency
- United States Post Office
- Texas Department of Transportation
- Fort Bend County – Fire/EMS, Sherriff’s Department, Emergency Operations Center
- City of Richmond - All Departments
- Centerpoint Energy – Electric
- Centerpoint Energy – Gas
- Lamar Consolidated School District
