Temple suffers 48-40 setback against Bryan to begin 12-6A slate (kdhnews.com) β Temple girlsβ basketball opened District 12-6A play at Wildcat Gym with a hard-fought 48-40 loss to Bryan, despite leading by eight late in the third quarter. The Tem-Cats got 11 points from Tierney Perkins and 10 points with 16 rebounds from Alanah Johnson, and coach Azzie Knox says the team will use the experience as it heads to College Station on Friday.

His project-turned-mission highlights how Temple-area students are stepping up to support one another and strengthen their school community.

Fort Hood's microtransit changing lives (spectrumlocalnews.com) β A new on-demand transit system called the Cavazos Connector now links Fort Hood with nearby cities including Temple, offering app-based rides that cost most civilians $2 and are discounted for military and seniors.
