  1. Temperatures are rising, and the Texas Zoo in Victoria announced that to keep the animals safe on days with excessive heat warnings, animals will have daytime access to their nighttime enclosures. This means visitors may not see all of the animals at the zoo during their visit. The zoo is also assuring guests that all animals have access to fresh and cool water, even if their water source is not visible. (The Texas Zoo via Facebook)
  2. Victoria Parks and Recreation has announced an upcoming event to create a garden for dragons and fairies. This event will be held on Jun. 24 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Children's Park.   3. The City of Victoria has a job fair coming up on Jun. 28 at the Victoria Community Center. The event will run from 7:30 a.m.-10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. There will be several city departments in attendance, including Environmental Services, Public Works, Victoria Public Library, and Victoria Fire Department.
