  1. Two separate vehicle crashes took two lives on Saturday night. Johnathan Wayne Vesely, of Victoria, careened off the road creating a one-vehicle crash. His vehicle rolled over several times before he was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. It occurred at 9:27 p.m. The crash is under investigation. The other crash-involving two vehicles- took place at 6:40 p.m. in Port O'Conner. Karen Logan Fleeman, passenger in the car driven by Terrell Lee Fleeman, was apparently killed. Fleeman is recovering in the hospital, and Kyle Gordon Ganzelle, driver of the other vehicle was not injured. The crash remains under investigation. (Victoria Advocate)
  2. Broadmoor Street in Victoria proves itself to be a hidden gem! According to journalist Ingra at KIXS, it contains an entire shopping center of amazing and wonderful shops. The wide variety of stores offering a panoply of services include among others, The Cavendish Boot Company, Austoria Wines, Plum Crazy, and the Black Dahlia Boudoir. (KIXS)
  3. Enjoy a conversation with Dr. Jack Gleeson on the Community Crossroads. Dr. Gleeson is a renowned Psychologist and author of "The Spirit Within Us".   • Come out and see the great jellies and jams, along with the farm fresh fruits and vegetables, at the Victoria Farmers Market tomorrow Jul. 5 under the Market Pavilion.   • There will be a car show before the fireworks today, Jul. 4, at the Victoria Community Center grounds. The event will open at 5:00 p.m. Two country bands will perform: The Solis Brothers at 5:45 p.m. and Mickey and the Motorcars at 7:45 p.m. (victoriatx.gov)
