- On Tuesday afternoon, Jul. 4, emergency workers responded to a car accident where a vehicle had flipped over south of Hanselman Road on Highway 59 South. The incident occurred due to a blown-out tire on the SUV, which had four occupants including two children. All individuals involved were taken to the hospital for evaluation as a precautionary measure. (Crossroads Today)
- The Victoria Independent School District board scheduled a meeting on Wednesday, Jul. 5, to discuss the resignation of one of its board members. Additionally, during the meeting, the board addressed the process of filling the vacant seat. Click here to view past board meetings. (Crossroads Today)
- In case you missed it, the Victoria Independent School District's Talent, Acquisition, Support, and Retention Department is organizing a job fair on Thursday, Jul. 13 to fill open positions for the upcoming school year. The fair will focus on hiring custodians, cafeteria staff, secondary and elementary teachers, as well as special education positions. The event will provide an opportunity for applicants to meet with department representatives, engage in on-site interviews, and receive assistance with the application process.
