'What I'll see for the rest of my life': TSTC students to train on new planes (kxxv.com) — Aviation students at Texas State Technical College’s Waco campus are now training on five new Piper Pilot 100i airplanes, bringing airline-style technology into local classrooms. The upgraded fleet’s glass cockpits and advanced avionics aim to give Waco-based students a competitive edge as they prepare for commercial aviation careers and TSTC continues expanding its training capacity.

Texas Drivers Beware: Major Waco Pileup Shows Interstate Danger (thebullamarillo.com) — A recent multi-car pileup on I-35 in Waco highlights how dangerous bumper-to-bumper interstate traffic can be through the city.
