2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee Finals: Watch It Live

It's the Thursday of Memorial Day weekend. You're probably not getting much work done anyway.

So why not watch some eighth graders try to spell words that you've never heard of?

The 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee finishes Thursday with the finals beginning in the afternoon. ESPN has the TV coverage, and you can watch it live on your computer or mobile device by clicking here.

The final final begins Thursday at 8 p.m. ET and is on ESPN.

Last year's contest ended in a three-way tie, so the bee is going to make things harder for the spellers to avoid a repeat.

Harder words have been added to the pool for the final round, so judges can ramp up the difficulty on the spot if contestants are flying through them.

As if "scherenschnitte" and "nunatak" — 2015's winning words — weren't hard enough.
