Internet Problems Strike Across Nation After Amazon Falters

Amazon’s web hosting servers experienced “increased error rates” Tuesday, creating havoc for millions of internet users and delays or outages for scores of web site operators.

In a status update , Amazon said it is “working to remediate the errors.”

As The Verge noted, eAmazon’s web hosting services are among the most widely used, meaning many websites have been affected by the incident. Some websites appeared to be entirely offline for a substantial part of the afternoon.

Patch was among the websites affected. This article originally did not have a lead photo because of related issues, but this error was later corrected.
