Internet Problems Strike Across Nation After Amazon Falters
Since much of the internet depends on Amazon's servers, many popular websites were affected.

Amazon’s web hosting servers experienced “increased error rates” Tuesday, creating havoc for millions of internet users and delays or outages for scores of web site operators.
In a status update , Amazon said it is “working to remediate the errors.”
As The Verge noted, eAmazon’s web hosting services are among the most widely used, meaning many websites have been affected by the incident. Some websites appeared to be entirely offline for a substantial part of the afternoon.
